Pardon me, my French is not all that great…but it would be nice if everyone from Quebec could take a second to say Hi! Salut! Bonjour!
Come on, anything, even if you were to form a little french-only separatist clique all your own, I would like to see some east-of-Ontario presence here. Come on down, Prairie dogs don't bite, quite playful really.
From the search I see we have myself, CLICLL, CrunchPod, jUNKfOOD and Minic. Somehow Minic does not show up in the search, I'll leave that up to dr. Tell us how you found this site, was it because of my bills? Come on tell us what city you're from and how you got here, I'm not aware of any French publication mentioning this site.
Je suis l'Anglofrog/ I am the Anglofrog.
Sorry, i was away for a good reason my son was born last week and i don't sleep much, if you know what i mean..
I'll be back very soon.
Minic
Yes, congrats…perhaps he can be the first true lifetime member?
Yes, congratulations! (dr, got an extra small tshirt for our youngest member?)
All things considered then, you've shown exemplary dedication to enter even 40 bills in the last month!
Well done. It costs about 300000 dollars to raise a kid until 18 years. What name?
Wow! Congrats, you've been busy! Was this before or after the earthquake, did you feel it?
Congrats and good work on kepping up.
Je suis Quebecois et j'ai connu ce site par l'entremise d'un 5 dollars qui a etampe avec 2 adresses internet. Celle-ci etant ma favorite, je me dedie entierement a www.cdn-money.com
Sorry Bob, but most of the users here so far are English-speaking. Don't drop the French, just please translate for the rest of us.
By the way, congrats on moving Quebec to some fearsome levels, at this rate beating Alberta with # of bills entered seems quite possible now.
If Bob wants to go French only, let him.
It's a free country. Likewise if someone wants to go Ukrainian… the choice of a traslation is their's. Nie tebe kachka kopne!
Tabernac! You a frog too, Pooga?
lol!!! Nope. pure Puke. (half Polish, half Ukrainian).
But after Ukrainian, my second language was French (3rd, English). I grew up in Northern Ontario. Unfortunately, after moving out West, I was young enough to forget both my Ukrainian and French.
Well forget it some more, if you knew any better you'd know French is not a language of communication, but as a means of alienation. Only if you knew what goes on over here.
Merci Pooga t'es sympathique. Je vais ecrire francais specialement si ca ne plait pas aux gens.
ANGLOFROG tell me where to get a stamp if I MUST have one like you say…
I'll forgive you for being bilingual if you forgive me for knowing only English especially since I live in a French-majority town.
I DO hope you are marking your bills. I got mine at Bureau en Gros off of Jean-Talon & Victoria. It takes about 2 weeks though. You maybe able to get one quicker at stampman.com, they'll give you two custom stamps for just $5. Or perhaps I can lend you one of mine.
Since I work with money I mark only the bills that I pass to clients. The bills thant are in the cash at the end of the day are just marked with an X on the canadian logo cause my boss doesn't like me writing adresses on bills… And thanks for the hint, I'll go to bureau en gros since there is one just on the other side of the street where I work.
Hmm, I'd feel stuck if I were in your position. There are others on this site who don't mind stamping up the bills and everyone seems ok with it, those people are in the top ten of the CMT score list, and they also have the most hits.
Maybe if you were to stamp the back, your boss may not mind so much.
Of course I could always come over and stamp up your bills for ya.
Another idea is to have this on your stamp:
CURRENCY TRACKING STUDY
www.cdn-money.com
I wish I thought of this before I got my stamp.
You may even put something catchy in french. Make it look official, Times New Roman or just Helvetica. Black is best.
Enough of me telling you what to do. Get to it!
I went to Bureau En Gros today and ordered a stampt wich will read like that:
www.cdn-money.com
THE MONEY TRACKER
BTG
The last line being my initials. I should have it in two weeks like you told me. So for now i'll continue hand writing the bills I pass on to clients.
Enough talking (writing) I must go and add my bills for today!
Good for you Bob, I'm glad did. The initials are a nice touch, wish I thought of that. Hope you get your stamp soon, CSST won't cover writers cramp as a workplace injury!
I must admit that it's hard on the wrist at the end of the day… But hey ! I'm dedicated to this site :)
Wish I could come over
and give you a hand with that!
Thanks but that's gonna be ok :)
Hey Bob it sounds like anglo really wants to come over.
