I now have in my possesion 3 AHC $50s. Would it not be easier to add the whole series AHA-AHZ(except Q,X and possibly O)into the system rather than wait until people start complaining that they can't enter them? Once it has been confirmed that a certain Prefix is being issued it's almost gauranteed that they will follow a pattern, regardless on which order they are issued.

for my part, i like the system dr has devised here. assumptions can certainly be made about the likely sequence of prefix, however, not all series can be shown to use the same pattern. plus the opportunity to enter non-exisitant serial numbers is greater with your suggested modification. the data base is already rife with bogus prefix/serial number combinations and i don't mind seeing this extra check on veracity.

p.s. i hope you also emailed dr with your newfound prefix!
