Maybe it's just me, but is there any better way to announce new prefixes. Probably not, but they don't provide much room for forum discussion, so it is sometime disapointing to see the only new messages in this forum are regarding new prefixes.
I've always seen this forum to be for fixes & bugs.
The new prefix isn't a fix or bug, but does need imediate attention. Instead of DR getting 20 emails about the same prefix we just let everyone one we emailed DR about the prefix here.
When I have a suggestion I post it into General Discussion to see what everyone else thinks. If it is a horrible idea, it stays there.
You are right though Prefixes take alot of space in this forum. I assume that is because DR does such a great job maintaining the site.
