No Bill dates?

I was wondering when entering bills, why are the dates for the denominations not there anymore? Wasn't that important? I thought it made a lot of difference cause of the year the bill was made.

The system automatically determines the year now based on the serial number of the bill. If you check the bills that you have entered you will see that the year has been determined and entered……
