changed hit notifications so that the email was different for the hitter and the hitee [bug #82]
I recently received at hit on a bill that I entered and received a HIT notification. The message indicated that:
"you entered a note which had previously been entered by someone else"
Seeing as how I was the first to enter this bill the message should indicate that I was the hitte and not the hitter….
I just got three hit notifications and two of them had that message on them. the third one had what I considered the right wording,
"One of the notes you entered originally, or had in your possession at one point, on the Canadian Money Tracker (www.cdn-money.com) site was hit; that is, someone else entered that same note.

From what I have seen the notifications are different if you get a hit from a registered user or a hit from an anonymous user, hence two different messages.
From what I read in the Help section I thought that the HITTEE and the HITTOR were supposed to receive different messages….
Yes, gouche92 is right… that is how it is supposed to work. If it's not… well be glad you're receiving email notifications at all. :)
