For those who care, the "new" server is now rebuilt and running the site in the test environment (that is only accessible by me); that's how I'm writing this message right now. So after a few more days of set-up and testing, I will be moving this new server to it's new home, replacing the temp server that is being used to host the live site now. I expect that to happen at some point mid next week.

But we're also looking at <a href=http://www.jabber.org/ target=_new>Jabber</a>. I am going to try Nitro (the Mac Jabber) in the next few days and see how I hook up with dr. Jabber (and Trillian and GAIM?) is supposed to work with IM systems such as AIM, ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo.
