IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING TROUBLE VIEWING THEIR HITS? IN THE PAST WEEK I GET THE MESSAGE BELOW NUMEROUS TIMES BEFORE I GET THROUGH.

504 Connection Timed Out
I have received this message a couple of times over the past several months, but the next time I try to load the page (within a few seconds of the forst attempt) everything works fine. The server could in fact be busy processing other requests.
I've had this trouble too. Just keep trying over and over or wait 5 -10 minutes. Works for me.
Another possibility is that it is your server is busy.
depending on where you are. different peoples internet servers get very bogged down.
I would guess say Toronto would have multiples servers for the amount Regina would have cause of the population.
but for instance say toronto only had the same # of servers as regina had. that would probbly mean 10 more people to 1 would be accessing your server. and the cdn-money's server is waiting between packets.. and you time out.
that is just a quick analogy, but distance is also a factor. when you connect to a web page usually internet finds the fastest connection to where you are going, but that can change cause there is no direct line.. again say from toronto -> calgary ( where the site servers would be ( assumtion being DR is from calgary ))
anywhere inbetween you and calgary coulda caused you to time out, but less likely as usually the internet will reroute you
No, I'm having no trouble at all. Sorry, wish I could help you.
Lord_Comedy, distance is a factor but would you believe my route goes through Toronto.
Yorkton-Regina-Toronto-Winnipeg-Calgary
Interesting that it goes two provinces east to get one province west.
Kayfbee i am wondering how you found out that you had that route..
:) and the routes change probably almost by the minute
to change to the fastest routing
i was using toronto as an example.. but it appears to have faster routing to calgary than regina does.. LOL
Go to a command prompt and enter:
tracert www.cdn-money.com
Might have something to do with internet service providers. For mine it was sk.sympatico in Yorkton, then bellnexia in Regina and Toronto, then telus in Toronto, Winnipeg and Calgary.
WOW SOME OF YOU ARE PACKED FULL OF KNOWLEDGE BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE FROM ALL THE REPLIES THAT IT IS NOT MY OWN COMPUTER AND THAT IS FINE I REALIZE I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE ON THE SITE :-) BUT THOUGHT MY COMPUTER MIGHT HAVE BEEN DOING SOMETHING WRONG.
SO NOW THAT I KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING I WILL PUT AWAY MY SLEDGE HAMMER (WAS GOING TO FINE TUNE THIS ELECTRONIC PIECE OF TIN).
