A few notes: Picnic area shows a white building- there are two of these camp kitchens.
Wading pool looks to be 6 feet deep in the middle. If it's open in June, it will be cold!
The clubhouse is supposed to be ready by June 1st. As of Monday, they were starting the stucco outside and taping the drywall inside. The building is made of straw! The clubhouse is across the road within walking distance of the campground, and the golf course will be up and running for sure by June.
Based on the pictures would it be safe to assume that there will be a gathering some time in June near the town of Craik? What day exactly?
It's detailed further down on 'Sask Gathering II update", but basically it's June 6 at Craik Regional Park. More details to follow. Some people will be camping overnight, but the core time for the socialising (as opposed to liberalising) will be about 1pm to 5 pm.
I am from Saskatchewan, so I would like to attend that gathering. It's just a bit too far for an afternoon trip. Does anything like that happen elsewhere?
Some people are staying over.. You could do that if you wish..
There are regular gatherings in Saskatoon every two months. There have also been some in Regina, Moose Jaw and I think they tried to in Weyburn.

If you're from Saskatchewan, just about everywhere within 400KM is 'an afternoon' trip.
kayfbee is from Foam Lake and regularly shows up in Saskatoon.
Craik is nice and central, and is actually closer to the southern members than Last Mountain was last year.
