Just wondering where everyone marks the bills. On the front or the back?
Just wondering where everyone marks the bills. On the front or the back?
I mark both sides. I think most other users do as well (correct me if I'm wrong, people).
here is a page of scans of some of the other users stamps and you can see where they stamp on the bills: www.cdn-money.com bill scans
I prefer to mark both sides myself
I mark front and back..
I only mark face side. This method seems to be totally ineffective. I think I will start marking both sides from now on. I usually mark them in the lower right corner or in the center bottom.
both for me and I do avoid marking where there is a face or emblem of some kind.
And it is a good idea to avoid marking a bill's security feature(s).
I mark on the back only. I still hand write on my bills and it would take to long to do both sides. Although kittyhawk was here for a visit last week and he has a stamp so I used it on both sides. He sold me on the stamp. I'm off to get one as soon as I can get to the city.
As soon as I can make my way into a big city I plan on getting a stamp as well. (paying for it with marked bills of course)
Can anyone recommend a place in Regina to by a stamp?
Barkly, I had a stamp made at Telic Marking Devices (2104D Grant Rd), she did a great job and helped design it. St. Rudyk recommended them.
Another place is OK Marking Devices Ltd (1358 Cornwall St).
Good luck on your stamp, and be creative.
i re-iterate kayfbee's endorsement of Telic… the ladies there know their stamps and more importantly, they know their ink. (a choice which is incredibly important to lasting, ledgible stamping.) telic is also located in a suburban strip mall which is much easier to get to and park near.
