Is anyone interested in a five year CMT anniversary party in Saskatoon later on this summer? If so, and someone is willing to organize it, I (and Princess) will fly in for the chosen weekend as part of my long (300 natical mile) cross-country requirement for my commercial pilot licence. And perhaps we can get some mini-sponsorship from a brewery? :)
Anyway, I'm thinking that the later in the summer the better so as to give people the maximum amount of time to plan around the party. So, I'm thinking late July to mid-August.
UPDATE: Here are some potential ideas to get us started… typical weekend-type event:
- Friday evening : early bird/locals meet and greet
- Saturday afternoon : brewery tour
- Saturday evening : dinner at some "typical" gathering-type place
- Sunday morning : brunch and depart (everyone to head to the airport to see dr off)

That's the weekend of the Exhibition right? That sounds fine with me as I was thinking that would be a good weekend anyway… that way people with families outside of Toon could make the trip and attend the Ex also. Could we get a brewerty tour?

tour: that would be a tough one. I can only take 6-8 people at a time for a decent tour (about an hour for the short version), otherwise I tend to lose them along the way! A bigger group is unwieldy. That said, I'm sure that taking you and Ali through the place would not be a problem. Saturdays we are shut down, so you don't get to see much machinery in action.
