WELL THREE WEEKS AGO I CHANGE MY METHOD OF STAMPING BILLS AND IT SEEMS THE NEW STAMP DOES NOT GET THE HITS THE OLD METHOD DID. SINCE I JOINED HERE IN DEC. I HAVE TRIED MANY TYPES OF BILL MARKING WITH VARIED RESULTS. I LET 500 BILLS OUT WITH MY CIRCLE STAMP MARKED YOUR A WINNER AND YET ONLY GAVE OUT ONE PRIZE. MY BLACK STAMP DID OKAY AND THE GREEN ONE NOT SO GOOD … BY FAR THE ONE THAT HAS YIELDED THE BEST RESULTS IS MY RED STAMP ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BILL. I AM OFF TO ROSE MARKING ON TUESDAY TO HAVE THEM MAKE MY NEW STAMP DESIGN WHICH WILL BE ON BILLS COMING TO YOU SOON. I AM LEANING TOWARDS THE CIRCLE FOR MY NEW DESIGN AND WAS WONDERING HOW MANY ASIDE FROM IDJIT, GOOOODBEER & TEEPEEJAY ARE USING THIS METHOD ?
I use a red stamp in a round circle but I have not seen if it is like anyone else uses.
Gouche has a nice round one with a maple leaf in it.
I too have a round red stamp with a dollar sign in the center of it as well as black 2 line stamp.
maggie has a stamp simular to idjits.. round stamp.. with a puppy in the middle
however maggie may not be online for a while now
I've been working on a new stamp design. I plan on retiring the ol' round stamp as it is nearing it's useful life. It didn't wear out, it was abused- dropped too many times, crushed in my 'purse' that I carry everything but the sink in, and left in the dirt too many times. You have seen my stamp BC and it seems to work fine on $5's but I have had very little luck with it on $20's. Think I may try the red circle for $20's.
well BANKCOLLECTOR may I point out to you that I have a circular stamp and am very successful with this one and in the middle is a picture of a puppydog. Most who are regulars know my stamp already and of course the puppydog signifies my daisybobbin. Around the stamp I have elected to put money survey and seem to have gotten a fair amount of hits off those bills. heres to tons more hits for you my friend.
