dr: As I was going through my hits, I noticed that a few places haven't been entered in the lat/long area yet. I sent you an e-mail with specifics. But the more I thought about it, I was wondering about modifying the speed calcs a bit.
A lot of bills are now getting hit 100-200 days after being entered, and the speeds are looking like .04 kph and slower. What about doing one of 2 things: Either expand the calc to 3 decimal places (thousandths) or set it up so that any bill with a speed under 1 kph is expressed in metres per hour?
Just a thought…
I noticed that if a bill is hit 1 KM away it shows no KM… I've had 2 hits over 100 days in the last week, No problem with speed on the burnaby HIT, the other was in Calgary. Could even put it in MM/hour or Nanometres/hour.
Fascinating. This is 'real' serotonin dysregulation. (Hereafter, referred to as 5HT). metres per hour; calculations in thousandths. I'm interested in Angstoms, dr. How about it?
Angstoms
Get real S! We're talking money here. It should be in bill lengths.
For example, did you know that Saskatoon to Regina is 2,026,666.6667 bill lengths? And if we're talking 5's, that means the value of that distance is $ 10,133,333.33!
how many bill lengths is 446 KM
Pooga you are crazy to have actually figured that out.
Not too hard. Multiply length of a bill x distance from point A to Point B. In this case Far edge of S-toon to other edge. Simple eh.
No mbeer, that's distance divided by bill length.
It is not that I thought it was difficult, it was just funny that he actually calculated it. And Mmbeer, so much for being smart, you had you would have been wrong if you had calculated it so maybe it was not so easy after all.
I didnt calculate it, i just tried to post something smart. Im tired and going to bed soon.
There's an answer I like.
There is some humour in that!
