Could it maybe be possible to keep the bills entered in the last X days, and be able to add one more field to them during that time, for where the bill was spent? Maybe it's just me having too much time on my hands, but I think it would be interesting to see where the bill is spent before it ends up somewhere else in the country.
An interesting idea but I think it would be hard to put into practice, even for people who enter a few bills at a time, let alone those who enter large numbers of bills on a regular basis. Even with 1/2 dozen bills in the wallet, it could be tricky to keep track of which bill was spent where. I think we may have to be content with knowing the geographical location, and perhaps a more precise place (name of shop etc), where the bill originated.
Well it certainly doesn't have to be manditory. But say you take all your bills, and deposit them in the bank, you could easily keep track of that.
IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR GOING TO DO WITH THE MONEY WHEN YOU ENTER IT THEN YOU CAN PUT THAT IN THE COMMENTS AT THAT TIME. IF YOUR MAKING A BANK DEPOSIT WITH YOU ENTERED MONEY THEN SAY SO IF YOUR GOING TO GO BUY GROCERIES THEN SAY SO BUT AS MENTIONED WOULD BE HARD TO KEEP TRACK OF RANDOM SPENDING … I CARRY UP TO 50 MARKED FIVES ALL THE TIME AND WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO REMEMBER WHERE THEY ALL TRAVELLED.

Although not 'illegal' it is frowned upon to withdraw, mark, deposit, repeat.
All depends whre you deal I would say. Some people wont frown upon them…

Most banks would at least find it suspicious if you withdrew money one day then deposited it back there the next day. Of course using the commercial cage is different.
Pooga meant .. It is frowned upon to withdraw money, just to mark it.. & re deposit it into your account.
Such activity could cause stamping the money to become a problem, where they may make it illegal.
And thus would cause our site to close down.
Ah yes, I forgot to mention the stamping part (duh!) LOL
Well, obvious I'm not going withdraw/mark/deposit. I just happen to be paid in cash, so I'm always making deposits. It was only a suggestion, obviously those who have a LOT of bills can't remember where it's been spent.
I think its been suggested in the past, but hasn't been implemented. I guess we'll see.
It's not a bad idea to have as an option. Even putting where you got the bill is an option.
Those of us who track our money, remember where we got most of it, but also remember where we spent it possible.
Anyone who is not a frequent user wouldn't even always remember where they got it, let alone spent it.
