Actually, I rather enjoyed it. Especially "Scottish Soldier". You should have come out to the balcony and watched them march. It was kinda funny to see this girl, smallest person in the band, carring the biggest drum!

I think dr, as a sgt. and a Robertson, would have enjoyed it as well!

All bagpipe music sounds the same.. they all pretty much have the same tune in it.

Last weekend there was someone busking with a bagpipe outside the local farmers' market. Quite commanding.

Pipers used to lead early warriors into battle. Apparently it infuriated the enemy and caused then to make mistakes. After last Sunday, I can see how this would happen.

Now that I am a veteran of two Saskatoon gatherings, my temporary move to CFB Shilo next month would make it ideal for someone (Boots40?) to initiate a gathering in Brandon (hint hint?)

Yeah, a 'gathering' is just a get together - maybe for pizza or something - and to chat about the site and stamping bills, etc. The first time the Saskatoon users got together was at a Pizza Hut.

It's an enjoyable way to meet new people and have a great time. CMTing is more enjoyable after you meet some of the people involved. I would recommend it.
