No, he definately needs more council, defn: assembly, meetings. ie. more parties, but closer to his house this time.

I will provide help for any CMT addictions. My qualifications- Completed Psyc 101, grade not available for public display. My guarantee-you will NOT be the same as before. My fee-three unmarked/unstamped and unentered bills, so I can enter them on CMT for myself.
And the proof, I clearly have no CMT problem, 3 years use, and less than 500 bills entered… either that or I am just damn damn poor.

Maybe we could design a specific '12 step program' for the members. It could be a project for the 'boys from Saskatchewan'.

TO TREV: I think that from my understanding you have enough other addictions to keep you busy. Please dont try and fool these people into thinking you are free of problems just like the rest of us.

Pooga

the 'boys from Saskatchewan'

We have a project…

increasing the number of 'girls from Saskatchewan'. Right CJ?

Idjit

Not me! I'm still in denial. I think it's perfectly normal to stay up all night entering bills and figuring out ways to get more. My freinds know better than to try to help me because I usually corner them and try to recruit them. More like cult deprogramming is in order…

My ratio with this site to ebay is 1:100. Now ebay is an expensive addiction. Are there 'girls' in Saskatchewan?

Idjit

Are there 'girls' in Saskatchewan?

Yup, there's girls here all right. The trick is to convince them that it's O.K. to enter bills. I think they are busy avoiding strange guys from Alberta…

ANGLOFROG

AAAAAIIIIIIIIIEEEEE!!!!! I think I need help! I just got back from Canadian Tire and started to stamp up my Canadian Tire bills!

Idjit

Catch up with Pooga- I think he's been trying to get DR to add CT money to the site…

It looks like Canadian Tire money and old Canadian currency are the only Cdn money that is not being devalued. I still think the Cdn dollar will hit 55 cents to the American dollar within the next 5 years.

Sarge

So what if it is devalued. Its not as if a lot of things change in price anyway - just imports - and we only notice it on the high-value ones.

Think of it in these terms…for the basics you buy, bread, meat, milk, clothing…don't ask how much you actually pay, ask 'at my pay rate, how many minutes (or hours) do I have to work to buy a litre of milk / a kilo of hamburger / a pack of smokes' and so on. Compare that to the number of minutes you had to work for the same item, say four years ago, when the dollar was worth more compared to the US. Did the number of minutes really change all that much? Unless you've moved to a higher paying job, I would think the numbers stay about the same.

kaiser

Serotonin, forget 5 years, I think that in about 2-3 years our dollar will be worth 55 cents. In 10 years it will probably be below 50 cents. Thats only saying that it decreases and doesn't rise at all.

I think the buying value is less now. Income has not really increased to compensate for the downward spiral of the Canadian dollar. In part, lifestyle does play a role. We are used to having fresh produce year round. Not the case a generation ago. Being primarily an export country we do import many finished products that have become part of our lifestyle. A barometer of sorts, since NAFTA, is comparing the Cdn dollar to the Mexican peso. There is even pressure there. Our politicians buffer themselves by conveniently giving themselves a raise which covers the devaluation and it is a devaluation in reality.
