i think you better change the wording in your last message before other beer admirers see it, and get upset. I think what Poogie meant was, the pancakes are made with beer.

Ingredients:
2 cups Krusteaz dry pancake mix
One 12-ounce can/bottle full-bodied beer
2 eggs
1/8 cup olive oil
In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients with a spoon until only a few lumps remain. Pour about 1/4 cup of this fairly thin batter onto a hot, well-greased cast-iron griddle. Repeat with remaining batter. With a spatula, flip pancakes quickly, allowing only 20 to 30 seconds per side. Serve with 100% maple syrup.

Makes: about 20.

Of course. For the radicals out there, there will be clamato juice to put in the beer. (Purists never touch the stuff).

Seriously, there will coffee and juices for those who do not wish a beer. Pancakes made with beer as normal (do it at home all the time - cooking removes alcohol). Added malt flavour. (check the ingredients on almost any breakfast cereal - 'malt' in some form!)

RE: Coffee: Don't understand how anything that can smell so good, can taste so bad! Has to be the vilest thing inflicted on Man (not counting the wearing of ties)!

1) sure glad my dad doesnt read these forums, cuz he'd be there just for the clamato juice and beer… (GROSS)

2) Don't knock the coffee… if its made just right, it does taste just as good as it smells!!!

I agree with puga Coffee is vile. and ties suck.

I've never tried clam & beer..

about two ounces of clamato juice in the bottom of a big glass then top up with the whole bottle of beer.(make sure your glass is big enough of course) This is enjoyable at any time of the day or night. My brother and I drink a couple of them in the morning before we go out fishing. then a couple more when we get back from fishing. then a couple more just cause we were out fishing. then……well…you get the idea!

Yes Pooga was a great host and it was really nice to put some faces to the names. Sure had a lot of good laughs and the pancakes and sausages were fantastic.

Oh now now, be nice guys! We probably discuss the same things that any group who tracks money talks about. Sure we discuss other users but never a bad word about any of them. We were very pleased when Idjit joined us last October. And no city is better than the next. All cities have their strong points and weak points. We can all say we are proud to be Canadians.

sorry I missed you all there. I did make it to the breakfast at 8:15 and did not see anyone there from cmt. I did have a great feed and got a few free REDEYE'S from people that were sitting next to us. would love to have been there for the first meeting and will try to make it again before the week ends.
