ma-a-a-a-a-a-a-nnnnnn….. how the heck did i get dragged into this???! :)
MY schtick is morality and ethics… pooga does grammar and spelling. sheesh…. try to keep our annoying habits STRAIGHT! :)
I'm sorry but I do like it when Pooga corrects spelling. I have worked at my place of employment for 27 years and have spent a lot of time standing at a desk trying to "cypher" someone's writing and spelling. If if is spelled correct, you know what they are trying to say….and as for all these words that sound the same but are spelled different…….the reason they are spelled different is because they have different meanings….
"for" and "four" sound the same but have a totally different meaning to different people. you have to know what you are trying to say before you say it.It's not that we are trying to be critical of peoples education or grammer skills…just remember that one word to one person can have a totally different meaning to another person. I don't think Pooga is trying to correct your spelling….but trying to clear your intent!!!!
Think…..there are a lot of different cultures that use this site and words have different meanings in different cultures.
Like I said, there is nothing wrong with learning. If I make a mistake I for one am glad to be corrected. How else would one learn? I list things on Ebay and have seen some other peoples that are so hard to read! If someone has the item identified wrong, I usually drop them an email to let them know what it is and I am glad when people do the same for me. One person cannot know everything about everything. So Poogers, go ahead and correct my spelling and grammar if something is not right. I will then edit it so that it reads correctly. I am open minded enough to learn.
If people really care about there spelling, copy your message to your buffer, then paste it into the form at http://www.spellcheck.net and it will spell check the whole message free of charge. Once everything looks good copy it back an paste it here @ CDN Money…
Or you can be like me and not care if people correct my spelling as the last time I checked I was not getting stats based on the # of spelling mistakes I avoided :)
