When and where is the next gathering and who is our host?

As Long as Redeyes and JD and Pancakes are served I dont think it much matters ~grin
Are we do anything for dr in August ?? - This was asked at the " Pancake Club"

YOU HOSTED THE LAST GATHERING WAS THE NEXT HOST NOT SELLECTED AT THAT GATHERING?
WHEN IS THE NEXT GATHERING SUPPOST TO BE HELD JULY OR AUG.
HAS DR SENT US HIS PLANS FOR THE ANNIV. BASH HE HAD PLANNED TO VISIT US (SASKATOON) WERE DATES EVER FORMED AND A PLANNING COMMITTEE SELECTED. I KNOW HE HAD ASKED FOR A COUPLE OF THINGS BUT WE HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM HIM ON THE EMAIL HELP OR HIS TRIP TO TOON TOWN. POOGA WHAT SAY YOU ON THESE TWO ISSUES? SHOULD SASKATOON HAVE A CMT COMMITTEE FORMED TO HANDLE THESE THINGS IN THE HIT CAPITAL OF CANADA.
SAY MAYBE POPE POOGA , IDJIT , J.D. FEVER (I NAMED MY GUARD DOG AFTER YOU) JER BEAR, C.J., MSTIGGS , SARGE & WALLY WOULD MAKE A WONDERFUL COMMITTEE.

The next Gathering is scheduled for July 25. But since dr is coming to town, the thought was to postpone it until August 14.

If dr can confirm his itinerary and desires, we can get things set up (i.e., tours, gathering spots, lodgings, other activities).

Pooga and I have been talking about a gathering in my back yard on the 14th…What does everybody think.. Hambergers in my back yard..

AUG. 14 IS NOT JUST A GROUP OF THE LOCALS GETTING TOGETHER BUT THE ANNIV. CELEBRATION AND A CHANCE TO MEET DR. (PHOTO OP) AND HEAR HIM SPEAK (I WOULD HOPE) ON THE FUTURE OF THE CMT. HIS VISION AND DREAMS FOR THIS SITE AND HOW WE MAY ALL BECOME MORE INVOLVED TO HELP HIM CARRY OUT HIS DREAMS FOR THIS SITE. ARE MEMBERS FROM REGINA GOING TO COME UP FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO MEET DR. OR WILL HE BE MAKING A TRIP DOWN SOUTH. WILL HE HAVE A GREETING PARTY AT THE AIRPORT (RED CARPET) AS HE IS FLYING IN UNDER HIS OWN STEAM. WILL THERE BE A GENERAL MEETING WITH THE WEBMASTER OR WILL WE BE DOING A SUPPER MEETING ONLY. SMILEYS HAS A ROOM UPSTAIRS FOR FUNCTIONS AND AS A BUFFET EVERYBODY WILL BE ABLE TO EAT WHAT THEY LIKE AND HOW MUCH THEY LIKE. AND AFTER MEETING THE PANCAKE CLUB MEMBERS IT SEEMS WE ALL HAVE ONE MORE THING IN COMMON WE ALL LIKE TO EAT. WILL DR. BE STAYING IN A HOTEL OR WILL ONE OF THE MEMBERS BE PUTTING HIM UP? WILL HE BE COMING SOLO OR WITH HIS WIFE? WHO IS ON THE WEBMASTER COMMITTEE? DOES IT CONSIST OF POPE POOGA AND ???. SO MANY QUESTIONS SO LITTLE TIME.

DO YA HAVE A POOL AND A HOT TUB ? ARE YA ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF TOWN AND DO YA HAVE GOOD NEIGHBOURS. IS YOUR LAWN IN GOOD SHAPE CUT AND TRIMMED NEATLY AND VERY GREEN (I CAN HELP YA THERE) AND HOW BIG IS THE BARBIE AND WHAT ABOUT FRIDGE SPACE. … ALL JOKING ASIDE IT SOUNDS LIKE A WONDERFUL IDEA. I WOULD LIKE TO HELP IN SOME SMALL WAY IF I CAN JUST CALL ME AND WE CAN TALK ABOUT WHAT I CAN DO. (IF YA NEED A HOLE FOR THE POOL I HAVE A BOBCAT).

And very few that we can answer until we know for sure what his timetable is like.

But I do like your idea of meeting on the 25th anyway, as it would be good to use as a planning session.

The downside - Sarge and I are out of town (actually out in the bush) until late Sunday afternoon, and if history repeats itself, we will be just a bit too worn out to do anything!

Hey everyone, it's been awhile.
Anyway, if you decide to do Smileys, let me know. Phil
(owner) and I go way back. I may be able to get some kind of deal. Also if we do the back yard bbq thing I'll bring the truck (and buy). If anyone wants we can have "special" ice cream (baileys, butterscotch schopps (sp)) works well.
I'll supply the I.C. if someone else pays for the mixer.
