Got a call from the Royal saying they had a bundle of new 5s for me. Went downtown, and sure enough…
100 UNC new 5s in order! I feel muuuuuch better now.
BTW, I asked about what they use for a band, and she said they don't use paper bands anymore. Whatever, got my bundle, and it's time to start spending!
I seen that at a friendly Royal bank they had Paper bands around the bundle…

The entire bundle was printed in position 66. I see that the Bank of Canada has changed that front left edge white strip as well. Guess that 'missing circle' issue with the tens won't continue here.
Very bad news for friends from Quebec city or maybe i'm late about that but i went to a Royal Bank machine to see if i can get some new 5$…No more 5 $ available throught the Td, Only 20 $. It is like this since long time ago??
From what I've seen there are only 2 Royal ATMs in Saskatoon that still give 5s.
Anybody know of any others around here?
In Lethbridge a scotia gives 1989 Teners.. thats the lowest Denom ive seen come out of a ABM
They only give out 5's and 20's in Duncan. Duncan is 15 mins away from Crofton and is only a small city, less than 5000 people.
The Royal Bank in Penticton still gives out 5's
It seems corner stores in Montreal are only too willing to hand out ragged fives.
