My question is, - are there plans to trash the old ones, as was done with the introduction of the new $100s? I sure hope not as we all have some out there with some anticipation of getting hits on them.

Even if it the old ones are to be trashed, it will take a while.

If the old ones are in really good condition they may be out there a while. Heck, I just got a 1975 $100 yesterday. Plus with the $50 bill coming out in November and a revamped $10 next year, the BoC can only replace them as fast as they can print them.

Still think that plastic money a la Australia is needed.

You're lucky to get a 75 $100.00. Banks around here are not handing them out any more, and simply refuse to give them out even if you beg and plead. I want a good one for my collection , but I'll have to pay for one from a dealer.

As far as destroying the old twenties, I think there are just simply too many out there for them to gather up and destroy. It would take several years to accomplish this feat…….. My two cents.

I thought they were going to make the Queen look like an old bag (like they did with the Prime Ministers) on the new 20. I was pleasantly surprised to see she looks half decent…
