where did my hit go?

Hi i had a hit with my friend mon_82. The hit was taken away for some reason. I bought a laser pointer off him and told him about the site. He entered it in 3 minutes a little fast but it was still a hit where did it go and y?

DR probably disqualified it b/c it was too fast. He's done that to me before too. It's just more fair that way.

I would have 40,000 hits if I told all my friends to enter my bills. However, I do the opposite. When I pay a friend back with a marked bill, and they ask about the site, I explain how the site works and tell them specifically NOT to enter that bill. If they do anyway, I remove the hit for the sake of fairness. I remove hits for a variety of reasons; sorry, no disclosure on why as I want to protect my methods.

However, that got me thinking of a new feature I may add… Right now, hits are deleted from the database and lost forever. Instead, in a future version, I may move them to "Hit Heaven" so you can see removed hits, and perhaps contest their removal. I'll keep you posted.

I like the hit heaven idea.. Send my one you thought i entered twice.. Anyway, A couple a days ago i though T-roy got a hit but when he logged in, it was gone… :S…. oh well, that reminds me. I got a bill in Vulcan, AB (a city you have to enter in the DB DR) And wrote on it, for a change to see what happens, Enter this bill serial # online to WIN!!! If someone enter the 10th hit on the bill, they'll win, LOL. Anyway, a new approach.

False advertising, the website could be in trouble then.

An appostrophe is used to replace letters not included in the word. Also to present ownership (ex: MmmBeer's hit), or plural (ex: the cats' ball), saying 2 cats own the ball.

More like 'hit purgatory', DR. With the right persuasion, maybe a person could redeem a hit from purgatory. Hit heaven is where a bill with 25 hits would go when it's worn out. Hit hell? I'll leave that one for you to figure out…

I agree. I try to keep it low profile. I think my second hit did come from my daughter or her boyfriend. In my mind, it doesn't count. (I didn't ask them to enter it). But they are aware of the site. I intend to change my stamp from www.cdn-money.com (font 12). I plan to change the stamp to "follow this bill etc" as soon as I get to Staples. It costs about $18.00

You're (You are) getting hosed if you get your (possessive) stamp at that price. The MOST I've heard for one around here $13, tax in.

8 bucks at my supplier and it done over 7000 bills and one pad and a bottle of ink

Hey, Serotonin. goto office depot. In calgary its $11.50. You're (you are) gitting Jipped if you purchase that. If you do get $18 one get a self inking, hand mafe stamp for 2 more bucks. Goes in your (posesive) pocket easy, and you (pronoun) dont need a stamp pad. Alot easier.

I got this stamp pad that says it never needs reinking, something about MICROPORES, does anyone know how that works. The ink is better than normal ink pads and was only $4.

If it's like the one I was looking at the top comes off and you can add ink there. I like it bcs less moving parts. The only problem is that eventually the pores clog up and the letters start to look goofy. Happens faster if you don't use the 'official' ink they sell for them.

Wharf is used all over crappy little Crofton. After all, half of it is a wharf. You prairie folk don't have any aout there I guess. I like knowing the meaning of antidisestablishmentarianism. Meaning? "Opposition to the withdrawal of state support from a Church."
