Has anybody noticed the growing number of part-time users?
KIMMY22 is a prime example, but there are quite a few others as well. These are people who have registered on the site (some for quite a while!) but have only entered marked bills for hits? These users have MAYBE entered 1 or 2 bills for themselves, but for the most part, only get on the site when they cross paths with a marked bill.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. But it seems a shame that these people are somewhat interested in money, but we can't seem to convince them to join us a addicted trackers. I wonder if it's us? Talking to KIMMY22, she was unaware that she could mark bills as well! She only entered the ones she ran into. Anything we can do to encourage these folks?
I think Dr, or one of us, should make up a welcome page that comes up after someone registers that has all info about the site and posible examples of bill marking. Hmmm, i could make the example of bill marking, or someone could scan their bill.
Perhaps a pop-up that tells first time users or anonymous users that they can enter ALL their bills and mark them. This could pop up automatically as soon as they hit the enter new bill button the first time.
If they would all start working the site I could never read all the messages
I thought it was fairly obvious how to play the game. Hell, if I waited until I saw a marked bill I would never be here!
I believe there should be a page to show off our stampers, just so at least others would have some idea of what one should look like. I'd volunteer to help with the site but I'm not a webmaster myself.
Im looking for a scanner that works so i can put a pic in my profile
I like the pop-up or welcome first users page.. also maybe people can just email the new users if they don't add any bills after registering.. I don't know… it's all good
