I dont mind the Québecois!! hell i married one!! lolol.. HOWEVER, meangene (hope i spelled that right sorry if i didnt)… I have to agree with you meangene.. Winnipeg! ACK… SOME do have that perimeter fever… BUT not all.. Some are sweethearts (like the rest of Manitoba).. but urg.. some are pompus. (this is based on the experience i had living in Wpg. so I am not judging anyone on this site).

I have met a lot of people from a lot of different places. I get a lot of people coming in the store from all over. Even England Scotland Ireland etc. I have lived in a lot of places in Canada. Some people were pompous asses, some were nice, some were liars, some thieves, some drug addicts, some alcoholics, some were snobs, some were wonderful, some smart some dumb. You cannot base how all the people are in any given area or city etc. To do so, you lower yourself.
i agree with yah, chickee… because of my experience in Wpg… you can tell I havent or dont travel that much, except to go on holidays once a year.. otherwise.. i visit the world via internet!! lol

I did not start the city bashing, I was just giving my opinion.
For everyone.
It is kinda funny though cause I was in a group of people in Saskatoon. People from Regina & area. It was a consensus that Saskatoon people are more arrogent & pompous than people from Regina, on the whole, Regina people are more friendly.
This obvisouly doesn't mean everyone from Saskatoon is more arrogent or pompous. In my saying this I know some people from Regina who moved to Saskatoon & I thought it fit them very well cause I thought they were both arrogent & pompous.
I do know people from Saskatoon who do not fit this discription.
In no way will I detract my statement, but I will say I would rather live in Saskatchewan over any other province.
I haven't been to Manitoba much Or east of that at all.
But Alberta & BC I have visited enuff to know it is nice getting back home to Saskatchewan.
BC & Alberta are nice to visit, but it is great coming home.
What we are talking about here is prejudice..Any time anyone judges any person based on their experience with another, it is prejudice and this is what causes more problems, in the world today, than anything else.. SO lets us all try to judge each person we meet based on their merits and shortcomings and not by the merits or shortcomings of someone we associate them with for whatever reason… This is getting far to serious and this is all
I have to say on the subject……
Saskatoon has always had an envy of Regina because it was bigger, had the government and all the offices, etc. The perception was that we were a working town and Regina was a bunch of uncivil servants.
Saskatoon is bigger now, and although that edge of jealousy/envy is still there, it IS fading.

You are right about Saskatoon being a working town, if you mean business orriented.
Regina is Government orriented. So yes some of those government workers are pretty slow and non working..

Sasktel ( biggest employor in Saskatchewan ) has alot of people (not) working for them in saskatoon as well.
