yeah, that's a 1 followed by 100 zeros. To the power of 1 followed by 100 zeros. If you had a 1 googol 1 dollar bills(ok, 5 dollar bills.) it would cover the entire earth's surface 1 meter deep.

I thought it was just 'googol'. Where did the 'plex' come from?

a googol plex is a googol times a googol… so, a 1 followed by 1 googol zeros. Which is also about how many stars their are in the universe. At least according to Carl Segan.
