My Very First Radar

After all the bills I've came across while on this site, got my very first radar bill today. $5.00 ***4080804 and in very good condition. I think I'll keep sake this one.

Radars are cool! I'm not good enough at spotting them though…prob'ly let a few slip through. It's neat all the things we learn about money eh?

radars are actually pretty rare so you may not have encountered that many. one thing i've asked dr to include in a future version is a simple algorithm that would check if the s/n you entered was a palindrome (radar) and then alert you (like the site does if you enter the same s/n twice). but, yeah, radars ARE cool!

Are they collectible even in less than perfect condition? I came across a couple radars last week, but they were both well-circulated so I stamped them and let them go.

Congrats on your first radar, I am still waiting for mine. I've entered about 450 notes and none radars but my chances are getting better every day.

ANY THAT I FIND I PASS ON TO ANOTHER CMT MEMBER AT FACE VALUE AS I DO NOT COLLECT THEM. I HAVE FOUND QUITE A FEW SO WHY ARE THEY SAID TO BE RARE. THEY COME IN ALL SERIES RUNS DO THEY NOT?
