I did a bad thing

I was downtown tonight, the girlfriend wanted a drink, we were near Safeway, I was broke (as usual), she had one five on her.
It was ….I don't want to say it…unmarked!!!
We had to spend it. Darn it anyways!!!

I hate to use interact for a 2 dollar purchase.
Could have been a ten, at least then I would have gotten change. :(
Well, hopefully won't happen again.

I don't mind it as much when she spends unmarked when I'm not there cause at least then, I don't actually see it happening.

Is there anywhere I can phone for support for this traumatizing event?
(like 1-800-CMT-HELP or 1-800-CMT-USER???)

p.s. I just found a good spell check site (needed it for the word "traumatizing")

I also feel bad when I'm forced to spend VIRGIN bills - and I even want to stamp other people's money! Is there a name for this condition - maybe "financial dysfunction"…? The long time that I was away from the site was a frantic spending of $17,000 in VIRGIN money….something akin to "financial promiscuity"…I'm so ashamed…

what!!! you spent a five and it was not marked? or entered?? shame on you. what kind of an addict are you anyhow. that is like dumping a bottle of booze down the sink before you drink it. now come on eagle. there had to be a pen somewhere. you could have written the number down at the very least. and write on the bill before spending it would help too.

:(
I know, but I was walking downtown. I have a pen in the truck, and one in the car, but I don't carry one in the baby stroller.
Maybe I'll have to buy another stamp and pad and put it in the stroller lol

I'm sure it has happened to all of us at some point after joining CMT. BC has the right idea though, if you have a pen and paper handy. The only ones I don't feel bad about letting go unmarked are bills that are in such bad shape they're unlikely to get any hits.

Well I hate to admit it but we were away for a month and our lawn cutting service stopped by yesterday to pick up payment and I gave hime a few 20's neatly stamped, he was half way down the street before I realized they were not entered — yes I gave chase but failed &%%$$#(& It does happen to everyone LOL

#1 - I always try to carry $10-$20 in coins. #2 - My husband and I have a joint bank account. That way I can make most of the withdrawals, mark the $, and then pay the bills. (And no, he doesn't mark the $ he withdraws)

i never carry change anymore, more than about 3 bucks anyways - anything more goes into a big jar, pennies in one and silver in the other, when they're full, we change it in and buy something or go somewhere.

I carry the change because sometimes at work we run out of coins, so I replenish the till and get bills in return that I can mark (or occasionally HIT someone).
