Ok presently both work just as well .com and .ca
Will it always be both?
Before I complete my stamp order pending I wanted to know which is more permenant the dot ca or dot com
I think it should be dot CA because of the Canadian thingy
When hand writing sometimes I did one sometimes the other!
I would say go with .com…. Look at the logo at the top of the page and it clearly indicates www.cdn-money.com.
Ya I knew that, but my go canada leaned towards the .ca I used to maintain both suffixs on all my website when I had them.
Dot CA was reserved for canadians to reduce the nameing crunch of the dot com revolution.
Thank you for your opinion
DR bought both domain names.
They both run the same cause they are the same computer.
Such that, no matter which you type in, it goes to the same site.
And like I said in the other forum I believe people who know about internet know .CA means it is a canadian website.
To be a proud canadian I would rather go to a .CA than a .COM
WELL STATED BIKER AND LC I WILL HAVE TO GO .CA ON MY NEXT STAMP
To be a proud canadian I would rather go to a .CA than a .COM LC AT TIMES YOU MAKE ME SMILE (WAVING CANADIAN FLAG)
I agree with the Canadian thing - and .com is usually for commercial sites which we are NOT eh? But my stamp says .com
Both work, but I prefer .com
dot com sounds better than dot ka or dot cee ay
the "a" in .ca is subject to ink bleeding and often just becomes a blob. ".com" may suffer bleeding but not to the same degree. besides, the "dot com" can be assumed even if it is less recognizable simply because it is more widely known. these combined with the fact that it is the name on the site seems to favour the .com
i do note with some irony however that it is only canadians who ever have to seemingly reinforce their patriotism – especially highlighted in this instance by saying that they are "PROUD canadians". nations with a stronger self image don't seem to need to do this… who ever hears of a "PROUD briton" or a "PROUD german"?
"it is only canadians who ever have to seemingly reinforce their patriotism…"
I think this is because Canada is composed of immigrants, and there is often confusion as to where their allegience lies. Ask a Canadian what their background is, and they'll say 'German' or 'Ukrainian', or 'First Nations'. It is rare to hear someone say 'Canadian' as a nationality when asked this way- it is assumed that the person posing the question knows the person is Canadian, but from where?
When I say I am a 'Proud Canadian', it's my way of saying, 'yeah, I'm Heinz 57, but there's no question where my allegiance lies'.
I am a native of Canada as is anyone else that is born here. I believe that I have ancestors from Norway, Germany, Sweden and God knows where else. Poland too I think. And the U.S. Not important to me obviously.
.com? lol more like .crazy!
Hey I just had an extra braincell kick in and say put them both on the stamp in my design there will be room for both.
Glad to have shared the opinions with ya all. I'm getting to know some of ya just by the forum now when we meet some day it can be the for RUM!
eye their Billy! Don't forget the yo ho ho part!
Dot Com is more accepted although .ca is becoming more and more known.
why .ca hmmmm…. canadian…. c… EH? C..EH?

BULL HOCKEY JUST LOOK AT THE STATES. AND I use to work for a german who was so full of himself and his so called Superior Race.
With all of us living in Canada, I pose this question!
Do you think people travelling abroad including Canadians going over seas or to the USA, Say we are ( or others ) Proud Citizens, while we are abroad?
I know many Americans while in the states say they are Proud Americans. I would imagine many other countries do the same, when they are at home.
While travelling it would be a slap in the face to say you are a Proud Canadian, when I am in say Mexico.
Sumation ( Point to Ponder!! )
If you are such a Proud Citizen why did you leave your country?
lol omg u r TOO funny - I KNOW ppl that SAY that!!!
I AM BORN CANADIAN AND MY FATHER WAS BORN CANADIAN I WEAR A CANADIAN FLAG WHEN I AM OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND SPEAK FONDLY OF MY COUNTRY. LOOK AT MY PROFILE AND TELL ME I AM NOT AS PROUD AS A CANADIAN CAN BE. OUR COUNTRY IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN NUMBER ONE IN MY HEART AND IN MY EYES. IF WE WERE NOT SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE WHY DOES EVERYONE WANT TO MOVE HERE.
ON MY NEW STANMP IT IS CA. AND NOW TALKING ABOUT NEW STAMPS I JUST THOUGHT OF AN IDEA FOR ANOTHER STAMP… LOOK FOR IT SOON.
we shall soon have to change your name to stamp collector
