About my hard drive

After a little research I found this statement on the internet and confirmed the class action lawsuit:

"In June 2003, the Fujitsu drive problem resulted in a class action lawsuit against the company. According to reports, the fault appears to impact MPG3102AT, MPG3204AT, MPG3307AT and MPG3409AT units manufactured in early 2001. If you have one of these, then it has probably failed already; if not, you should replace it ASAP. "

Who new? Hindsight 20/20!

I also contact a laboratory in Florida who knows the drive, it takes them 5 hrs, and you get the drive back working (fujitsu only). Cost $299 US.

Also I called the places that were suggested by my CMT family, they said it wasn't something they could do. Thanks for the tips though. FYIO no reply required.

Sramic I posted a message in your other post about data recovery. It isn't easy work.
I actually have a drive I want some pictures off of.
I have another board, but haven't tried doing it yet.
