so what can happen to a keyboard that gets half a can of beer dumped on it? besdies being incredibly sticky on the fingers. and no Pooga it was not the "right" brand. twas Milwaukee's Best Ice.

UNPLUG FROM COMPUTER ASAP … PUT EXTRA(SPARE KEYBOARD ON COMPUTER) TURN BEER ONE KEYS FACE DOWN ON TOWEL AND LEAVE TO DRY FOR FEW DAYS THEN WITH ISO 99% WASH DOWN AREA THAT WAS PART OF BEER SPILL. DUE TO THE EXTREMELY LOW COST OF KEYBOARDS UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO DO THE CLEANING YOURSELF YOUR MUCH BETTER OFF JUST TO REPLACE THE KEYBOARD AS THE SERVICE LABOUR WILL EQUAL THE REPLACEMENT AND YOU WILL STILL HAVE AN OLD KEYBOARD.

No don't turn the keyboard upside down - just pull off one of the keys insert a straw and enjoy. LOL

Yuck! What about all of the paperclips, dust and moldy food crumbs that are in there with the beer….. Yuck!….. :o)

It worked fine for the rest of the evening and then this morning, the computer was going beep beep beep beep beep beep over and over and over and over. haha it was hung over.
but I bought a new one. the one is garbage anyhow. I had problems with it even after repeated cleaning. I believe it was about 7 or 8 years old anyhow. half the keys were invisible. not that I need to look anyhow but it is nice to see them again. and I dumped it on the floor (carpet) asap. then just continued teaching miss glenda how to use msn etc. :o)
