Orphan

Looks like a true orphan hit to me. A double missed for someone!

I thought it looked like a normal hit, with the original user only having entered one bill. It says "1 bill entered" not 1 hit entered, so I don't know how the user originally found out about the site, but it doesn't look like an orpahn to me, unless I'm missing something.

The user only entered one bill. That by itself is not proof, of course. If the comments had said 'found this marked bill', or something similar, then we would know that it is an orphan.

But the number of users who come on, enter one bill, and never come back, is pretty low. Therefore I would say that the odds are that this is an orphaned bill.

I understand what you are saying, but if it was an orphaned bill:
wouldn't the firt person who entered it - on their profile, it should say "hit entered-1" and not "hit entered-0, bills entered-1

Again, I'm not arguing anything, It's just the way I'm looking at it.

no because someone marked it but did NOT enter it before. therefor it will not show up as a hit. I have some out there. I marked them to enter later as the site was down. hubby came along for some 5's for the till, saw that they were marked, dedeuced that they were entered and used them.

For some reason, I was thinking that an orphan meant it was originally entered as "anon", but I understand now that a regualr user, or a 1 entry user, could enter it just as much as a anon. Just a brain thing i guess. lol

I've done the same thing antics but mine was for almost 500 dollars worth of bills for rent… then 2 days ago i didn't even get to stamp a bunch my sis got from me…. oh well live and learn
