Rank?

I notice so many levels that people are… may I ask what determines who gets to be what? I mean, what does it take to become the next thing after "newbie"? Time? Use of the site? Finger blisters and paper cuts?

And since we're on that topic, just how many levels are there?

dr

There are lots of levels. And the criteria to reach the various levels is a secret. Seriously. I want the levels to be natural. Because if I said something like, you need to enter in a $1000 bill to reach the level of 'Dedicated Tracker' then people would go around entering $1000 bills solely for that reason. As for the number of levels, check this message out for the list of levels…

P.S. No, the number/denomination of the bills that you enter does not affect your level, so don't bother. :)

you guys are too much… what does Site Evangalists mean anyways? like it's not really a rank but a title right? or is a Site Evanglist more super than anyone?

An Evangalist is a writer of the 4 gosples, according to Oxfords oversized pocket dictionary.

Idjit

First: gospels, not gosples; evangelist, not Evangalist.

Second: after trying to write the CMT gospel, (see minutes of the first meeting of the Saskatoon users group), we'll leave this to DR..

I actually got the idea from Sun Microsystems, who had a person whose job title was "Java Evangelist".

I actually got the idea from Sun Microsystems

who got it from Apple. They've had an official Mac Evangelist position since the late 80's.

Idjit

"a person whose job title was "Java Evangelist"."

er, job? Does this imply some kind of compensation??
