I am currently sitting with 967 hits. In the last two months, there have been periods of 3-4 days without a hit, and a few days with 2-3 hits. Here is my contest:
Predict when I will receive my 1,000th hit, day and hour. Whoever is closest, without going past that date/time, wins. 1 guess per person. If your selected date/time goes by without me receiving that hit, you may choose a new time, however, it may not be less than 5 days after the expired guess.
(Ex: 10:00 pm Nov 25th was your guess, but that time has gone by without the 1000th hit. Your new guess may not be any earlier than 10:00 pm Nov 30th)
Place your selected time-date in the subject line as per the following example:
22:30, 30 Oct.
The winner will receive a medallion, struck by the Royal Canadian Mint, made of 99.9% pure copper, displaying the Queen, Elizabeth II, on the front, and a symbol of Canada on the back.

January 1, 2005 @ 1:00am sarge's time
My guess is Dec 5th, my youngest son's 19th Birthday
That gives you 13 days to get 29 hits…..not a problem for you….right
My daughters birthday so I'll pick this day.
Kayfbee your guess is corrected. Wally, which guess do you want me to log? 16 Nov or 25 Nov?
ps: now at 971 hits, no hits for three days.
thats my guess… good luck on the hits
Nov 16 21:00 hours is my guess sarge. not sure where you got nov 25th, unless its for when the new version will be released which is the day that i guessed for that
Thanks Wally…
Folks, there are two contests running asking for times and dates…please clarify in the the subject or message body which contest you are responding to…either the 1,000 hit contest or DR's 'new release date' contest.
