Old and Far

Thought this hit I just got was pretty interesting for its age, but even more so for its distance travelled. Across the country and back again! Not sure it breaks any records for total distance though.

The fact that your bill left home, travelled across the country and came back close to home is indeed impressive.

I am just trying to get my bills to leave home (get out of the province), never mind come back home…. :o)

Sorry I didn't see that one while it was in Fredericton so I could enter it for you too. I guess it didn't like the climate down here so it headed back West.

WOW!!! Nearly 3 years old and it's just getting home now!?! Wonder where it was those 2-1/2 years between hits?!?

I bow to one of The Originals. #5 on the Longest Life page and the new record holder for distance travelled. I previously had the record with 6583 kms. You whomped my record by 1682kms. Congratulations T-rev!

Hey thanks for the all the congrats everyone. While I'll take it, the praise must really go to the bill for being such a trooper through the years of travel, and to the people who entered the bill! If only now I could get that bill back and frame it so it could live on. Alas, I'll just have to add a link in my profile instead.

But as someone mentioned earlier, it really makes you wonder what our bills are really up to sometimes. Who knows how many thousands of kilometers a bill travelled only to get hit in the next town in the end?

Wow ..that is pretty amazing. That is what interest me to track bills now, where they end up some day. I only got one bill with a stamp so far, but since then I always look a bit closer at the bills I get. Thanks for sharing that old bill.
