Hi,the 1871 pei penny was introduced when the island addopted the decmal currency system.the coins were minted by heaton's mint in birmingham england, although they don't have a H mint mark.the coins arrived in 1872 and they were introduced a couple of months later.PEI joined canada in 1873 and as such they .had a hard time getting rid of the 1,400,000 of the original 2 million order. The coins catalogue value depends on the grade.grade G=2$ up to 200$ plus uncirculated. hope this helps.

1944 newf. penny is relativly common, during ww2 these coins where made in ottawa, instead of england. The mintage was reportedly 1,328,776 coins, but most collectors would agree this is a high number, compared to avaliable coins in unc.Price would be in good-2$and unc 250$ plus.what grade is your coin?

Pooga

The tombac(?) nickel. I think it was 1943.

Got a few (8-9?) of these. Would that make them more common and less valuable?
