Surpassing October's hit total

For those of you who monitor the monthly hit totals, the November hits have surpassed October's as of 11:00 am Atlantic time. Onward and upward!

and i'm almost certain that some of them are legit! i know a couple of mine are, but geez, it's getting harder and harder to find open computer terminals… or friends to enter my bills… or just FRIENDS, for that matter… :)

Rudy, send your bills over my way and I will be glad to enter them. Except for the first bill I still did not see any marked bills. I think that you have lots of friends here :)

That's great that we passed the previous month's hit total, but anyone know why were losing hits since June? When Comparing monthly hits from the beginning until this year, you can see that there's a dramatic increase right up until June, then the bottom starts to fall out. Compare the current 6 months to last years and see for yourself that in some cases over 300 hits didn't materialize for some reason. Anyone care to guess why?

diffusion theory states that a saturation level exists and that was the point of a poster presented at a recent meeting of professional geographers. the hits/month curve of this site follows the classic contagious diffusion sigmoid curve. that saturation is overcome only with a change in distribution, technology or other such factor. but that would just be ivory tower musings… :)

i kinda see saturation being achieved possibly coincident with someone joining the site and then saturating by amassing entries at rates heretofore unexperienced or even, for that matter, believed. but again, that's just idle speculation drawn out by your invitation for conjecture…

Hey, I couldn't understand Rudyk's response either, but it was fun reading it!! My point was just to inquire as to the current downward trend that may affect all tracking sites. Pooga certainly keeps close tabs on stuff like this and I hope I didn't alarm anyone unnecessarily.

I noticed that we fared better for November and are looking pretty good so far this month.
