I will be deploying a new version of the site this weekend, probably on Sunday. There will be only minor changes and additions, with major changes coming towards the end of the month.
In version 1.2.1 you will see some new top ten lists, navigation links to make it easier to navigate around the inner workings of the site, as well as a list of the last people to login to the site.
The big things in the works for the end of the month include changes to the message board, proper support for timezones, defaults for entry screen based on each user, more stats, update to the CMT score system so it is based on number of hits and, most importantly, lat/long coords for the cities so we can see how far each bill has travelled and at what speed. All good. Other suggestions should be emailed to me at dr@cdn-money.com.

Oooo… like the new 'top ten' list. Just what I needed… more info! Keep it up! Looks better all the time. You're worth every penny you're paid to run this site! :-)
Glad you like the lists; I will try and add some more stats stuff for the next big version. That should include such stats as farthest travelled and top speeds, both of which require me to first code the lat/long stuff into the system.

Really like the changes to the site. Fun stuff. Something I thought of today – what about a place where you can add numerous bills at once? I'm still finding it quite tedious to enter only one bill per page (but not as tedious as I once did, thanks to a couple of people from this site!). What do you think?
SAUCY-EYE, glad you liek the site. Entering a number of bills is way easier now than it used to be. In the original version you had to re-select the city, province, etc… each time. While your suggestion is valid, I doubt I will create a mulitple bill entry screen. The reasons for this are both to do with validity and errors. A multiple bill entry screen would make it WAY easier for someone to enter a large number of fake bills in a short amount of time. And a multiple entry screen also lends itself to errors in entering bills. However, I may look at implementing something like that for longtime users once I impliment a way for users to edit bills they-ve entered. Perhaps later this summer.

City and province are okay for entering multiple bills, but how about doing the same thing for denomination and the comments??? I can understand NOT doing it for condition though. Got to keep people on thier toes!
You were also talking about improving the home screen. I think it's a bit daunting for the less computer savvy. Take out your version news, put it somewhere else. (help?). As part of the header intro, how's about something along the lines of "If you visited this site because of a marked bill, click here to register yourself and the bill!" and get them there right away. And some more info on the site itself should be there. Surfers want to find out things RFN, and those extra clicks to get people where you want them may discourage some. Anybody have any other thoughts???
