And while I think of it…

dr or MmmBeer, what HTML code do I add to an URL to generate a new page?

I noticed that dr does it that way, at least you can peek at the URL without leaving the site.

You should actually use this:

<a href="www.cdnpapermoney.com" target="_new">blah blah</a>

If you use an actual name for the target, such as "main" or something, if someone else uses the same name either here or another site, the link will go to that window. With "_new" the browser opens a brand new window each time (if it follows the standards).

Interesting that you should mention that. I was looking thru Claris HomePage, which I used to build (WYSIWYG) my little homepage, and it took the '_new' and replaced it with a '_blank'. Is this not standard?

Although it recognises the 'em' for italics, going thru the regular interface, it uses 'i'. Just how 'standard' is standard HTML????
