Keeping a bill back log.

Hey,

Being a classified newbie on this site, all the while having a high amount of bills pass through my hands, I end up with a lot of bills I can't enter that day. So I take down all the bills information, make a notation on the bill about this site, and spend or bank the bills when I get a chance. And then I enter the bill information the next day the site lets me do so. Do a lot of others keep a back log of their bill info, or do many just enter the bills they are allowed to that day and spend the rest?

Yes alot of us have until our daily amount changed… before long you will have a big daily limit and not enough bills to fill it :)

you may end up inadvertantly giving someone a hit that way but there really is no choice at this time till your limit goes up. Soon enough it will and you will end up wondering where in the hell am I going to get 200 bills!!!

Ginnsu, that is the best way like you do it. If you keep a log, you can enter your limit every day and soon your daily limit will go up and then you won't need the log anymore. When I am out shopping, I keep a log as well. It is for the change that I have to spend in the next store. So I write down the info, mark the bill and spend it.
Have fun tracking :)

Some might call this the un-natural flow of money.
I did it and so do many others but the thought of it just upsets some of the members.

Yes I keep a list - so I have something to enter every day……hopefully….lol Being quite poor, I recycle bills the best I can to get the most from my money and I currently have 24 serials on a list waiting to be entered.

Personally I can not get enough bills to keep up to my daily limit, so therefor a list of unlogged bils is totally unnessesary…

I call mine my CMT overflow file, and I keep it in a speadsheet. If the site is running slow, I'll enter them in my overflow file and cut and paste them later. You run some risk in losing that first hit, but it's a small risk compared to having your phone turned off:)

keeping a list doesn't go against the rules… cause you have had the bills go thru your hands and off again… you havn't changed how you treat your money at this point other then just putting it in a note book, rather then on the site, until time and space here allows you to enter them :)

Keeping a log is perfectly fine.
Infact I still do.
Since I don't have internet at home anymore, I usually print of the list & take it to an internet based computer to enter them, but I don't do this daily, so I knowingly run the chance of losing the 1st hit, but in being a Regular Tracker (senior user ). I know not many hits happen so fast that you would lose a hit in the 1st couple days.
It may happen just, that there isn't much worry to me.. I just get to see where it went that much faster.

BC keeping a log of your bills is much less unnatural then spending several hundred dollars of $5 bills, as you have said you did in a public forum.

Thanks for all your replies everyone. I topped out at 42 bills in my log a couple days ago, and with the Christmas weekend here, I doubt I'll reach that again fairly soon. I've also noticed that, As Lord_Comedy said, the first hit doesn't usually come within the first few days. And even if it did I wouldn't be too bummed out about giving away a hit, as opposed to not having a chance to enter the majority of bills that pass through my hands. It's all in good fun.

And speaking of Christmas, make it a very merry one, and best wishes to you all for the new year.

Happy Tracking,
Ginnsu.
