Hey all, if you see a lone, kinda short gal walking a dog on the grassy knoll at the corner of Laurier and Confed, that's me! I got a job Petland. I'm one of the kennel techs there. Now I feel special.
Increased income means increased outcome of bills to mark!!! Woo hoo.
sounds like a great job. I would like to work with animals.
Dont let the big dogs drag you around.
Congrats! I get a lot of my fish stuff there. I'll see if you can spot me… (Guffaw- who could miss, right Pooga?)
Couldnt miss Osama bin Idjit!
Hey, I was over at Clark's Crossing on Friday. The general manager of the place is Rick Williams, who just happens to have an account here (wilrik)! We got talking about the site and where he finds bills. Told him not to enter the 2 bills I spent in his establishment that day.
LOL Osama bin Idjit..good one Pooga…what kind of fish have you got Idjit?
1 Betta Splendins, 3 Molly, 3 Indian Glassfish. So far. They really belong to my kids.
Congrats with the new job :), sometimes its better to work with animals. I worked kennel help in highschool, didn't pay much but I loved working with the cats.
Cheezie: I've been at Petland a couple of times since your post. Seems like all the gals there are 'kinda short'. Are you hard to pick out of a crowd?
Are you hard to pick out of a crowd?
Good question. Well, put it this way. Everyone working at Petland has a uniform, except the kennel techs which wear scrubs. I don't have any scrubs yet, so I'm in blue jeans and a t-shirt. So on one hand, I blend in. They also have many volunteers who would be wearing street clothes, but they tend to have name tags. I don't have a name tag, either. Tell you what, I'm working tonight (29th) from 6-9, getting trained for the night shift. If you see a 'kinda short' girl in blue jeans, running around like a chased budgie, it's probably me. ;o)
(I did have to chase a budgie on my last shift… had to finally catch him with a net!)
