It was a cold one this morning delivering the papers…

GOUCHE92 IT WAS COLD IN THE BOBCAT THIS MORNING AT 4AM. ALMOST RODE OVER A PAPER PERSON WHO COULD NOT SEE A NOISY BIG HUNK OF METAL WITH A YELLOW STROB ON TOP AND TWO SPOT LIGHTS GOING DOWN THE STREET. CAME OUT BETWEEN TWO PARKED CARS … LUCKY THE BOBCAT DRIVER WAS ALERT OR THE PAPERS WOULD HAVE BEEN LATE AND THE DELIVERY PERSON WOULD HAVE HAD A RIDE IN A BUCKET.

Where did that "almost" happen?

Starting the diesel is fun- it sounds like 50 guys with hammers trying to break a boulder. Didn't get a chance to drive over any paper people this morning, but I just about caved in a Honda whose driver had a cell phone stuck to her ear. She didn't see a thing until my headlights were 12 inches from her face- I laughed out loud when I saw the expression on her face when she realized how close she came to being creamed. I hope she had fresh underwear to change into…

tried that JD stuff. hated it. now I like rum, vodka, some brands of beer. nothing too sweet, irish cream is nummy, black russian premix is good, so is long island iced tea, wines that taste like koolaid are good. dont like rye either. used to like scotch with a lemon twist over ice but got sick of that. now JD if you poured irish cream over you, I would seriously consider that. LOL

Haha…i dunno about the rest of you guys…but i'm not complaining. This extra cold weather gave me an extra 2 days of christmas holidays as our school didn't open!!! If you ask me, we've been spoiled. We have had such a mild winter so far….then the 2 huge dumpings of snow we got here…along with the extreme cold should be an eye opener as to how good we've had it. Good ole Saskatchewan!! :P:P

I got to agree with you insane_monkey, we have a lot to be thankfull for in this country.

It's freezing all over the country. I noticed that there are more people online now, so that is a good thing about the cold. What else can you do (except make snow angles) ..lol
