I have noticed that there are a bunch of hits where an anonymous user has entered the bill before the registered user who mark the bill in the first place had a chance to enter them. This is obviously the case if you are writing down serial numbers at work, which is no big deal. I was going to switch the order of the entries around in those cases since it's pretty clear that they should be. However, this has to be done manually at this point, and I don't really want to write any code to help me do it. I think that this is just a chance you take if you are writing down serial numbers. While it may not seem fair, I think from an administrative standpoint on my end it makes sense. Plus, if you are marking bills from work, then you are probably gonna get more normal hits than not anyway. Sound fair?

I agree. I've always assumed this to be the case, and I use strategies to prevent this. Those times I do get burned, I just accept this as part of the game. Where I do have problems is when people back date their entries to beat me, though. Maybe if we made it impossible for 'anonymous' entries to be backdated?
YES opps I very seldom put bills out that way myself if I don't get them registered they just go out.

Ya, one of the new features I'm going to work on is that no "past dates" will be allowed to be entered, unless they are a registered user of a certain rank and I have enabled that feature. Users without the feature will simply have the date/time filled in automatically for them. So basically, one I "trust" you as a user, you can enter in anytime you want.
