dot.CA is my preference dr. It shows a sense of pride, gives the site an official feel, and makes since you don't accept American money yet. Also, the site is NOT commercial.
I'm thinking that there are so many questionable .com sites out there that .ca sets us apart.
As for the NEW URL? How about www.easycome-easygo.ca? lol
My preference is .com (despite the money tree!)
I would go for .ca being Canadian even though my stamp is .com
Honestly when I got my stamp I never realized that .ca would work. The bill I first got said .com so I used that on my stamp as well. I would have put .ca if I had known.
Makes no never mind to me as long as the site remains….
Either one is OK with me.
Just don't change the name to:
Wheretheheckhasmymoneybeenandwhereisitgoingto.xxx
Vote for .CA
I don't think people realize the site will stay the same.
What DR is saying this will do is.
When you log in it will make any links you create automatically go to .ca or .com
so when you make a link in the forums to a bill you post / hit / enter .. what ever it will go to the proper site.
in this way when someone logs into .COM they will still veiw the same posts as the person who enters .CA
In this reguard even though i use .com cause most people use .COM to log in I think .CA should be uysed as .CA means Canada where .COM means comercial/business
I have always used .ca to mark my bills. This works for me.
goooodbeer
I have to agree that .com is a much more recognized web address. If it is someone that doesn't use the net all the much, this might just be that little extra nudge to go and enter the bill… so it's dot.com for me.
Sorry I'm late in responding.(seems like I'm late for most things) I am a proud Canadian and I would say to go .ca, but whatever the majority vote is, I'll go along with it.
