CHAT

I am delighted to see some renewed interest in the CMT chat room. I've been involved with a couple of chat sessions in the past few days and really enjoyed them. A couple of us were thinking it would be nice to ask a few prominent CMT'ers to do a sort of Q&A for an hour or so. It would allow us to get to know each other a bit better, and also ask questions of some of the high scoring members like:

• how do you mark your bills?
• where do you get your cash?
• have you ever had problems spending your marked bills?
• what's the most interesting reaction you've had with marked bills?
  etc etc.

I asked JaketheDrifter if she would kick of our first scheduled chat and she has agreed to appear on Thursday, January 27th, 7 p.m. Alberta time. JaketheDrifter is our top tracker (at present), and I'm sure she will have lots of tips on how she got there. See if you can persuade her to share some of her secrets! The chat will last an hour or so, and should be a fun event.

BDKINGSTON: January 31 at 7:00 pm Saskatoon time.

Watch out! I will be putting the strong arm on some of you other interesting folks to host a chat session in the near future. Again, this is a great way to get to know each other better, and I think it will be a great community builder. I have asked the top 10 useres and DR. So if Idjit comes-a-callin' don't you be a-hidin'!

I would be interested but cant make it for the 27th but put me down for sat. 29th evening.

Great idea, Idjit. I put it on my calendar. If I can make it at that time, I will check it out. That would really be interesting. Us newcomers can probably learn a lot and get more ideas :)

There must be some trick to get the chat to work, even in the previous version I could never get it to work. Ok maybe because I am on a Mac it will not work for me???. I have looked and have never found any pref's that need to be checked in order to have chat work so am stuck Drinking JD by my self here???

It works for me… sort of. Dies often, doesn't even start sometimes.

That's why JD and I videoconference fairly often. Works slick. Even sort of worked with J-lynn. It was perfect. She saw and heard me, I saw her, but couldn't hear her.

Sure works slick right Pooga???, can not understand why the PC world has not come up with as good a program. Maybe when Mr. Bill Gates finally finishes Long Horn the PC world will catch up till then they will have to hope I guess. By that time we will conferencing in the Fourth dimension right Pooga ~lol

yup.. i prefer the vid chat too.. lol…

Wow! That was a great turnout! I'll have to try and join in on one of the chats. Did everyone get to chat?

Not everyone was on at the same time, I think we had 10 on at the same time max, but people came and went. Everyone commented and kidded around. It was a great event and a lot of fun.

Yes, I enjoyed it. It was lots of fun and I had some laughs. Maybe we should knead again sometime ..lol

Whatever the kneady knead we can probably arrange…. :o)

I enjoyed Thursday's chat as well. Unfortunately, I will probably miss tonight's chat with Suzuki as I am going out to break bread and spend some dough.
