How Long must I wait!!

Hi Everyone, does anyone have an idea how many notes are usually entered before getting a hit? In Saskatoon I imagine it is a little easier than poor me stuck in Ontario.

some take a very long time some happen very quick, yes your chances are greater in saskatoon then anywhere else in canada as we cmt's in saskatoon talk tracking serious and look hard for any marked bills. in ontario will be harder but never give up hope as when you least expect it bam your hit. try to have coffee where travellers frequent as will send your bills to far away places. i have a contract with nav. canada and when i am at the airport i always buy a drink at the tim's there and downtown i eat at the diner in the out of city bus terminal doing this makes some of my bills travel fast. in less than 10 months on the site i had hit every prov. & terr. tracking is like fishing you got to use the right bait and fish in the right places and always have a line in the water. some call this a game, some a sport, some it is a pure tracking of money (ya right that's why they get so bent out of shape when you pass them) but for most all of us it is a great passion. now i will say there are a few members in here that have kept this site in the purest form … they do not appear on page one have been here for ever and remain fairly silent in their tracking over time you will get to know who they are and i commend them on their dedication. now for the rest of us it is all about competition, friendships, and good fun by people who enjoy watching their money travel. good luck your first hit will come soon.

BC preety well covered it, but remember the longer you wait for your first hit the more exciting it is..

Willdo, same as you I couldn't wait for my first hit and wondered if and when it will happen. It did happen though, after I entered almost 200 bills. That is not the norm though. It could be tomorrow or a few month from now. One day, just like me, you will log on and "wow" there is your first hit. That is a very exciting time. BC gave you some very good advise, what you can do to speed it up a bit.

I'm from Alberta and it took one month and 200 bills entered before I received my first hit. Not as good as living in Saskatoon, but not an unreasonable wait, I don't think.

I did, however, receive my first Ontario hit before receiving one from much closer BC, so there's hope for Ontario!

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. BC, I guess I've been following your advice without even knowing it. I've been passing my notes at busy coffee shops near where I work. I work near the Parliament buildings and some other government offices, so there are a lot of office workers. I also spent one at the Airport when I had to pick up my girl-friend. I will keep entering notes, and hopefully something will come up soon.

The usual has been about 2 months. Of course this all depends on the number of bills out there. You only have 23 as of right now. So use more cash, less credit card, and throw away the debit card. Debit cards are dangerous anyways!

Just spend them as you normally do, and it will happen. It took me 251 bills and 40 days before I had my first hit. You're on the right track. Mark, Enter, Spend….the hits will soon follow.

As Yoda says, "patience!". The trick is to get as many bills out as you can. Being in BC, and away from that hotbed of hits, Saskatchewan, I can completely empathize! Even though there are more people in Ontario, there is less of a chance of another CMT user getting your bill. But that only means the hits you will get will be that much better. Good luck!

To funny…Yoda is one of my favourites. I make my daughter laugh by imitating him. She also like it when I do Grover. Well I shall put some more notes out there, and hopefully something will catch.

Oh willdo I lived in Moose Jaw and waited about a month and then I was getting the hits hand over fist. Hang in there kiddo…….happy tracking

Things shouldn't be that bad in Ontario. There are quite a few trackers in Ontario that belong to other tracking sites. If any of them find your bill, they will give you the hit because they know how important it is to recieve a hit no matter what site it is. Hang in there. Good things come to those who wait.
