Dr is it possible to have unread messages in a different colour then blue or grey (maybe in red). Sometimes it is hard to find the new messages in a thread where I had read some messages before. Or when somebody changes the message it is hard to see, but adds to the number of messages unread under the message box on the left site.

I have found the same thing… the gray on gray gets a little hard to read.
Just a little notation, the blue vs gray colours of the message links are the unclicked vs clicked links as detected, and saved by your browser. Some browsers even have the ability to impose a certain colour scheme on a site, regardless of the scheme the site uses.

Not sure which browser you're using. But based on best guess, Internet Explorers settings for this can be changed by clicking on Tools -> Internet Options. Click on the "General" Tab, and then the "Colors" button. Choose your preferred colours, and then click "OK." Then click on the "Accessability" button and check off the box "Ignore colors specified on Web pages".
Important Note: This imposes those settings on all web pages which can cause problems depending on the background colours the web site designers used. So use with caution. And easier solution would be for dr to change it. :-P
