postal code update

1.It's a go! I checked with the company, and once I purchase it, we can use it forever and only need to renew inorder to get the latest updates.

1. I've downloaded the sample data and will start converting the code for the site this weekend.

2. Donations can be addressed to me at the snail mail address listed on the "Contact Us" page (accessed via the help screen). Please email me if you've sent me mail so I can ensure that I get it and mark your name down.

Well I started the complete re-vamp this past weekend. Here's how it went:

1. MmmBeer sent me a list of serial number prefixes and the bill series they belong to. I added all of those to the database so that we have another level of "checking" when bills are input.

2. I'm now about half way through the "add bill" re-write. This is the biggest piece of the change to the site as I have to check for a valid bill prefix and valid postal code. Should have this done this week.

3. I also started looking at some of the other bugs and requests that have been pointed out over the past couple of months.

So, things are looking good. Release date? Umm, not sure. I really want to clear up as much as I possibly can before I release. I'll keep you posted. As a rough guess, I'm thinking probably late May.

Oh, and Pooga, I have a major surprise in the works for you. Will keep you posted on that… and please, no public guessing as to what it might be… I don't want to spoil/ruin anything, and knowing how clever you all are, I'm sure one of you will end up guessing what I'm up to.
