Ever wanted to send a large file to someone, but were limited by the the recipient's mailbox size? I just discovered this site last week, and was wondering if others had seen it. It's called YouSendIt and you can send files up to 1GB in size. Very handy.
Here's an special example. I know that Sarge, dr and Master will be interested!
This .mpg file is 24MB.
I love broadband… back when I was on dialup I would have scoffed at you for posting such a huge file, telling me how big it was just to discourage my downloading it, and leaving out the description creating a enough suspence to make me still consider the possibility of downloading it. The whole thing would have left me in termoil for weeks! … Or at least until it finished downloading… which would have taken about 2 to 3 hours… don't you just love how demanding and fast paced our culture has become?
A very neat service for people that want to send/receive large files.
I am still on dial up as there is no high speed available here. it sometimes takes a couple hours for some of the things to come up that are sent to me. i dont bother forwarding them, no matter how good a joke etc, as it takes that long to send it out and then if someone has a full mailbox, it takes that long for me to get it back. real bad if I get it back from 3 or more people.
Wow, that is a great service. Thanks!
