Okay, which one of you knuckle heads came and stalked me at work last night? I guess it was my own fault for giving you the details of when I'd be working… blush

But still… fess up! You were 'kinda short' male, slim build, wearing a cap, blue jeans, and a green/brown suede or something-like-it jacket. You hung around for what seemed like an hour, and kept watching me through the kennel windows when I walked the dogs… I almost thought that you'd finally speak when I came to get the big white bird, to feed him. But you didn't.

Then what did I do, but totally forget to weigh that bird before and after feeding him. It's all your fault!!! I hoped you'd be around when I brought him back to his pen, but you weren't there. Vanished.

I thought maybe you were shy, or I smelled like dog poop, or something, and was going to say "Track this bill" to see if I'd get a reaction… but what if that guy really was a stalker? ACK!

Sleuth work, please. Which of our members sounds like this?

I think you are right your paranoid could be it was the animals they were looking at and not you at all.

Well, let's see. Idjit has a beard, I am definitely NOT slim. Sarge is out of town.

You didn't mention age. BD is 'older', and come to think of it, CrazyD can't qualify as slim either.

Well let's see. He was a little taller than me (5'3" on a happy day), of Asian descent, and I'd guess in his 30's/40's.

I'm hoping he was just looking at the dogs, but you know, while I was out, he'd go back and look at the other animals, then when he saw me come in, he'd walk back over to the adoption dog kennels, watch me put a dog back, watch me take the next dog, and then he'd start heading towards the door I leave the kennel through. I was thinking he'd introduce himself or something when I came out, but he never did.

Each time I came back in the store to get a different dog, he'd come back over when he saw me, and wait, looking through the kennel windows.

Maybe I AM paranoid, but even if I wasn't "on the alert" for fellow trackers, I'd still notice this behaviour as odd.

If that guy is a member of CMT, I hope he doesn't think I think he's a nut case, but I would like to know if he really is connected to this site. You know?

I just hope I'm paranoid and can laugh this off. I guess I'm not on Paxil for nothing. Hardy har har.

Well that explains it! I don't KNOW of any of the Saskatoon users being of Asian decent.

BUT, I'll bet that he was checking out the dogs to see which would make the best stew!

Way sorry. I was the one who started this, I think, with my question. Perhaps there are better ways to meet (like our little 'gatherings'). I'll have to organize one soon so we can meet some of the new CMTers. Maybe right after we cash in the Super 7 ticket… hmmm.

Could also be anyone reading the message boards who isn't a user…can't be too careful. Let's hope he doesn't show up again, if he does make a point of asking him "is there's I can help you with", or get another helper to serve him, don't let him lurk around unseen. Or maybe its just a little bit of anxiety after what you put in the post and nothing more.
