I thinks there is something wrong because everytime I refreshed the page it added several users. last count was 479

Are you going to just filter out the googlebot ( ip address) anonymous user entries? or just scrap it all together?
With having the google bot ip address & a few lines of code you could help us not become overly excited seeing so many users online at once, by not having those show up as anonymous users online.
