Hmm… not married eh? lol! Have J-lynn explain it to you!
Must be a small town.
Seriously, remember that you can view the hit, click on the location and see where it is through Mapquest.
Lord_Comedy
Climax is one of the towns they mention on a tv commercial that lists alot of small towns.
I can't remember any off hand but they all have a slight twist in the name 1 way or another..
I think Biggar is one. hmm I wonder if I spelled the town name right.

I had looked at the Mapquest earlier, but coudn't make out where it could be. But this time I zoomed out one step. I have a general idea now where it could be :) Just haven't traveled close to it yet.
antics
speaking of odd town names in Saskatchewan, there is also Love, Big Beaver, hmmm I forget the rest. When I lived in Ontario someone from the toronto sun (I think) wrote an article about the odd names of some of our saskatchewan towns.
Lord_Comedy
Ever see the picture of Hell frozen over?
I do believe that is Saskatchewan.
I do believe there is a town named Hell somewhere in the states as well.. Less prone to freezing over than lets say.. Saskatchewan.

I recall seeing on the news once a few years ago, that Love Saskatchewan gets a lot of mail addressed to their post office near valentines day. inside they have addressed stamped envelopes from hopeful romantics mailing a valentine to someone so that it would be postmarked Love Saskatchewan.
gee I should have mailed hubby's to climax so he could claim that he got something from climax. ha ha
J-Lynn
i'd be curious if hubby would actually get a fake climax if we sent him there.
oh
antics
I think you lost your halo J-Lynn. Get thee to a nunnery!
Lord_Comedy
Actually antics.. people go to Love Saskatchewan to get that post mark on their envelope..
Each envelope is Hand stamped.
If you mail something to Love Saskatchewan then it has the post mark of where you mailed it from.
Yes Love Saskatchewan has alot of visiters this time of year.
I remember seeing that news cast.
There is a place in Canada with Christmas in it's name as well .. At christmas. many parents will go there to mail their children letters from santa as well.
antics
no LC, this clip showed someone opening letters addressed to the postmaster. inside was a self addressed stamped envelope containing a valentine. The name of the person it was to go to was the address. they just wanted the uncancelled stamp to be stamped from there.
Lord_Comedy
The clip I saw said these towns actually get many visiters during the respective times of the year.
They never said anything about people mailing the post master. to get the letter returned.
In as much .. I didn't think Canada post did such things.
It would create alot more extra work for the post officers.
antics
yes, they will do that. she does it here cause some people want one from their home town etc. that does not happen too much here though. and who do you think answers your letters to santa?? north pole hoh oho?? she answers them here as well. it is not a lot of work to open mail, cancel it and put it into a bag for pickup. that is a lot less work than answering the santa mail.
Lord_Comedy
I suppose the santa mail is aloot of work, but I didn't realize you could mail the postmaster like that.
Love saskatchewan should be on the saskatchewan commercial where they name all the towns. near the end.. We "Love" Saskatchewan.
shewolf
The town of love was issued its own personal stamp… something canada post rarely does anymore… it has a teddybear on it…. I just read the article this week… people also send their wedding invites to the postmistress there just so the invites will say love sask on the stamp… its a busy little one postal worker place so she tends to get quite busy… :)
